Tarar says US has declared PTI founder a certified liar over cipher issue

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the United States has declared the PTI founder a certified liar over the cipher issue.

Reacting to the statement of US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu on Thursday, he said that the PTI founder had put the state at stake to promote his political narrative. "The world has seen the sinister face of the PTI leadership," he added.

He said that the PTI was playing the politics of double standards. "The PTI founder tried to damage the Pak-US relations," he added.

PTI vice-president Sherry Rehman said that the cipher narrative would be remembered as the worst example of putting the national and foreign interests at stake.
