Toshkhana reference: IHC rejects PTI former chairman's plea for withdrawing application against ECP verdict

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday rejected the plea filed by the PTI former chairman against the verdict of the Toshakhana reference.

Chief Justice Aamer Farooq announced the reserved verdict. The PTI former chairman had filed the appeal to withdraw the application against the verdict announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The PTI former chairman wanted to file a case in the Lahore High Court (LHC) after withdrawing the appeal from the IHC.

On September 13, the court had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of both parties.
