Tried my best to provide all possible facilities to mourners: Sindh CM
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government has tried its best to provide all possible facilities to the mourners.
The Sindh chief minister along with Information Minister Saeed Ghani attended the main procession of Youm-e-Ashur in Karachi. He reached New Preedy Street Lines and reviewed arrangements of securities.
Addressing to the procession, Murad Ali Shah said that foolproof security arrangements have been put in place with regards to Youm-e-Ashur across Sindh.
The Sindh chief minister said strict security arrangements have been made for the Youm-e-Ashur. “The Sindh government has tried its best to provide all possible facilities to the mourners.” He also thanked the administration of the procession for extending their cooperation with the provincial government.
The chief minister later, left for Sukkur to review the arrangements of the main procession there.
Today, Youm-e-Ashur, in remembrance of the martyrs of Kerbala, is being observed with religious fervour across the country.
Taazia and Zuljanah processions will be taken out in all cities and towns of the country including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta. Ulema and Zakireen will highlight the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and various aspects of Karbala tragedy.
Meanwhile, elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure security of mourning processions and Majalis. Police and other law enforcement agencies will be deployed to ensure law and order.
