Two soldiers martyred, terrorist killed in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Two soldiers were martyred and a terrorist killed in an attack on a military post in Azam Warsak, South Waziristan District.

According to the ISPR, Pak Army troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists' location. Resultantly, a terrorist was killed. Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorist.

The killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.

However during an intense exchange of fire, Naik Rasheed (age 29 years, resident of Tank) and Sepoy Rasool Badshah (age 22 years, resident of Lower Dir) having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

The area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
