Two-year-old boy injured by stray kite string in Mianwali, 68 held in crackdown

MIANWALI (92 News) - A two-year-old boy was critically injured by a stray kite string in Dawoodkhel on Monday.

DPO Matiullah Khan took notice of the incident. The police arrested the kite seller Muhammad Asghar. Three people have been killed by stray kite string in different incidents during the last two days.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested 68 people during a crackdown against kite fliers and sellers across the province. As many as 1,198 kites and 64 rolls of metal string have been seized.
