We have Hamza's arrest warrants: NAB officers

LAHORE (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Additional Director Chaudhry Asghar has said that he has Hamza Shahbaz’s arrest warrants.

While speaking to PML-N lawyer Atta Tarrar, NAB Additional Director Ch Asghar said, "We are here to arrest Hamza and should be allowed to go inside the house."

The NAB additional director further said, "We are not being allowed inside the residence to arrest Hamza. We are here to arrest Hamza in cases pertaining to assets beyond known sources of income and money laundering."

"We will not leave without arresting Hamza," he asserted.

Earlier, Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz Sharif and his family are involved in money laundering of about Rs100 billion abroad.

Fawad Chaudhry said Shahbaz Sharif and his family owned assets worth about Rs85 billion in the United Kingdom (UK) procured through money laundering.

Fawad Chaudhry said that it was for the first time that a crackdown was launched against influential people. He said it is unfortunate that Hamza Shahbaz had not only cooperated with the NAB team, but also obstructed the investigations by attacking the team members.
