Work on forts and fence continues on Pak-Afghan border: DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that the work on forts and fence is continuing on the Pak-Afghan border.
In a tweet, he said that the work on 233 out of 843 forts and 802 of 1,200 kilometers PRI 1 areas has been completed.
He said that total length of the Pak-Afghan border is 2,611 kilometers.
The DG ISPR said that they are aiming speedy completion in PRI 1 areas and overall completion by December 2019.
“The fence will benefit peaceful people of Pakistan and Afghanistan besides restricting terrorists,” he maintained.
