PTI to challenge proposed constitutional amendment bill in apex court

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to challenge the proposed constitutional amendment in the Supreme Court.

Informed sources say that the PTI has prepared a petition to file in the apex court. The petition states that there is no representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the Senate.

It adds that constitutional amendments cannot be made as the House is incomplete, stating that the Supreme Court should interpret the issue of legislation through an incomplete House.

PTI’s Senate ticket holders from KP will file the petition in the Supreme Court today.
